Lwin :: Brief Bio

I was born on August 25, 1976 at the American Baptist Mission Hospital in Moulmein (Mawlamyine), Mon State, Burma (Myanmar). I spent most of my childhood in Mudon, Mon State. I graduated from high school in 1993.

After graduating from high school, I went to Rangoon (Yangon) to study at the Institute of Medicine (2). The school was closed for political reasons in 1996. I went to the States in 1998 to study at Purdue University in Indiana. I graduated with a degree in Information Systems. I came back to Burma to teach at the Myanmar Institute of Theology (MIT) at the Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies program. I have been at MIT since December 2002.

Ethnic Background

Both of my parents are Mon. So I am 100 % Mon.
